When its raining buckets outside and you just so happen to be sitting inside, I always have this overwhelming feeling of comfort, when Im all bundled up in my bed, with not a
Let it pour down I say, Let the rain just pour and pour and pour. Im dry, Im warm and Ive got everything I need right here. This is what I think is one of the best feelings in the world. when you're just laying there, with not a sound but the raindrops hitting your roof, hitting your window. Therapeutic I think.
But what happens when that isn't available to you, that 80% chance occurs ? Where you aren't able to just lay back, relax and enjoy the raindrops.
This is whats been on my mind since 6 this morning.
(Keep in mind I am a very enthusiastic person and love being able to multi task, usually I will get up on a rainy day, throw some laundry on, whip up some cookies and throw them in the oven, then get in the shower and by the time I'm done my shower my laundry and the cookies will be done for icing, then i can let my hair air dry (healthier for my hair) while folding and hanging clothing and then icing cookies. all within an hour and a half.)

Scrapbooking? I think so.
Ive been an avid scrapbooker for just over 3years now and I absolutely love it.
Its so pleasing when you can look back on all the things you've done in the year or even the past while growing up and all the little knick-knacks you've picked up along the way. My scrap book is for Mackenzie & I. Lovebirds. NBD.
I adore scrapbooking - call me old fashioned but; to be fair, so far I also knit so..

Organizing my house;
There's nothing I love more than an organized house.
Clean my rooms from top to bottom,
inside and out. Complete unfinished chores and throw on a few loads of laundry that've been hiding in the corners of my bedroom.
Down to the nitty-gritty.
The G-R-I-N-D some would call it.
Is it not refreshing to have a clean house? Even if you do mess it up again or when you put something away and you just know you're going to need it again 5 minutes later, Its nice. Arn't you glad you did it? Who knows. maybe you'll even find you're long lost pantyhose or that lipstick you've been tearing the house apart for weeks looking for. Its complete and allows your brain to settle down and rest afterwards.

Write a letter by hand another old fashioned thing about me I guess,
I love to write friends letters, wether it be to someone who lives around the block or a friend who lives across the globe. I just love it.
Theres just something about hand writing the letter, where you know every word is from the heart and not thesaurisized through the computer.
and plus you can accent and colour however you want wherever you want while writing. The best.

There are so many things this city has to offer and I suggest getting up and going out there to experience it. I never used to be someone who went out and did things, everything always seemed so dull, or out of my reach, but in the past couple years Ive actually gotten a lot accomplished. Bungee Jumping, Capilano Bridge, Revolving Restaurant, Endless concerts, Vancouver Events, Vancouver Art Museum, Color me Rad run, Santa Shuffle, Biked around Stanley Park, 50s diner in Yaletown, So many things and more to venture out to.
Trust Me. Just go. Be Adventurous. Live a little.
(sorry I know this may have been a bit of a let down considering you are locked in doors and its raining buckets outside, but seriously, just make plans for a month from now, you'll be glad you did)
