Times be changing... for the best. (ENGAGED)

Friend.
Girlfriend.
fianCÉ.
WIFE/.
MOTHER//

My world is inside out and upside down right now. In this very moment. This minute, This second, THIS moment. I couldn't be happier, I could not even begin to aTTEMPT to explain to you all how happy I am. how uncontrollably GIDDY I am just at the thought that I am going to be someone's WIFE. Not just anyone,
M A C K E N Z I E / F E N T O N ' S wife.

the love of my life
mon amour
my knight in shinning armour
my hopeless romantic
my beloved
my secret keeper
my dreamer
my love
my whole heart
and now..
for my WHOLE. LIFE.

To be asked to spend the rest of my life with him was single handedly the most romantic, loving, precious gesture I have ever experienced. Mackenzie Fenton; I love you so much and cannot wait to stand by you, before our friends and family and most of all before God proclaiming our love for each other to all. I am so excited to start this new journey with you; filled with adventures of all sorts, ups and downs, highs and lows, bright days and rainy days, through thick and thin, by your side is where ill be.

I couldn't have asked for a more romantic proposal.
My sweet, sweet Mackenzie.
Down in Vancouver, on that wet and rainy day, you got down on one knee and looked up at me with eyes filled with hope, promise and tears of happiness, asked me to spend the rest of my life with you.
We stood there in the pouring rain just holding on to one another, in such happiness and such bliss. Everyday I am reminded of that precious moment, and every day I fall even more in love with you.

My whole heart;
for my Whole life.

6:37 here we go. My stomach is in knots and flipping and flopping. Lovely. Brings me back to my Panama days. At least my nails are painted.

This plane is very squeaky, needs a good oil change I think. Good humor always gets you through nervous wrecks, right? Don't worry, hopefully I not have a Panama episode, I've popped some pills already. Also, I guess I didn't check the contents of this book (my journal) because it appears to be a day planner. Oh well.
Here we go. Lift off! Hold my breath and count to...

Keith getting his last Canadian fix!

I am so blessed to have such amazing and caring friends who support me no matter what I do. Dianne gifted me with a small music note shaped pendant, it's called a 'love note' when you put it on, you're supposed to wear it until the string breaks that it is on, then when it falls off your wish should come true! Also, Shannon and Derek gave us some spending money for when in Quito.

Now if only the flight keeps going this way, nice and smooth. That would be lovely. We still have two more flights to take after this one, I am constantly praying for safety. Mackenzie bought a crossword puzzle book to do throughout the trip. He's probably just jealous because Dianne MADE me one!

Well, we made it to Denver. We had a quick 20m layover at the airport, now we are on our way to Houston. Weoooooouuuuu. This plane is a lot fuller then the last bus. The captain of the plane just announced that if you wanted to, you could listen to the air traffic news on ch9. Steve, Keith and JD all grabbed headphones and started listening. JD shouts, "we can pretend we're flying s plane!" ....ayiyi.

WE MADE IT!!

(This is my nook for the next 10 days... pretty snazzy!)

We arrived at Houston safe and sound and then flew to Quito. We made it!!! We were meeted and greeted by Robbie and his friend Jen, they had a space ship van. We drove SO fast I thought we were going to flip over! But we made it to the orphanage. When we got inside we were given a short two minute tour where I was lead upstairs and was told I would be sleeping upstairs on my own! ...that did not sit very well with me. I'm a bit of a scary cat. Terrified. There was four bunk beds and some dressers and then just me. So Mackenzie asked on my behalf, that I sleep downstairs with the boys. They said it was fine, but I still feel that Steve was a little disappointed because if I didn't sleep downstairs then he would've had the small room all to himself at the end!

Goodnight Quito! Can't wait for the adventures that await us tomorrow!
