December has been BUSY

Dear Fellow Readers.

I know I know I know, it's been forever since Ive blogged and it feels like a lifetime since Ive even sat down to attempt to write. But I have good cause and a well deserved pardon. I have been engulfed with the holiday spirit. 'The best way to spread holiday cheer is singing loud for all to hear' ..well I haven't exactly been singing for the last month..let alone anytime. But I have been busy! I've accomplished a large handful of things over the month of December. I've baked and decorated over one hundred sugar cookies, decorated my entire daycare for the holiday season; with snowmen, reindeer and snowflakes, knit each one of my daycare kids a thick wool ear warmer for christmas (20!), wrapped all christmas presents individually with brown packaging paper, ribbon and twine (one of my favourite things to do at christmas, cheapest, and in my humble opinion, looks the nicest!), wrote christmas cards for EVERYONE - each included with their own holiday picture of mackenzie and I. AND I survived the 2012 Mayan Apocalypse.
PHEWF. That is what I call a busy busy December.

MAckenzie &&I at the Singing christmas Tree

During my last week of classes (16-21st) I had 2 days cancelled because of the snow, so my happy loving dad came and picked me up and we went for errands and coffee!.. Then he bought me some face wash.

At the moment I have the extreme privilege of hanging out with my friend Matt Groening, this is a screen shot of one of the many times Mackenzie and I had skyped with him in Calgary!

Enjoying some wine and pie?

This is one of my FABULOUS presents I got for Christmas from Derek, MAckenzies brother.
SO AWESOME.

Although.. The onesie Derek had originally bought for me was a size to small, because Im so darn tall, so I went to a few Winners by my house and neither even had the pyjamas, then I called the Winners in Surrey, where the original was purchased, and the gentleman that answered the phone informed me that they did not do store checks over the phone. EXCUSE ME?! UGH. I was so mad.
But then Mackenzie and I drove there and they had this lovely number. <3

Until next time fellow readers, enjoy your new years and stay safe!

(Other Exciting news to come: New Years! we have been invited back to our dear friends in Langley, this event will be semi-formal  and so much fun! I am very excited about this. I bought a new dress. &&and you kNOW I will be sporting my fur jacket (steal of a deal from value village) - with pictures to follow!)
