Happy New Year!

New Years Eve. New Years Eve was great. It was so fun to be around those I love and those that make me laugh. I had the wonderful EXCITING surprise of having my friend Robbie join us for New Years Eve. It was such delight to be around him!! and hear about all he is doing in Ecuador. Playing puzzles all night and board games all morning - exciting stuff!
You better bet that I rang in the new year sporting my fox fur full length coat! picked from value village  haha and Mackenzie sported his trendy Calvin Klein Grey suite. Lookin' quite dapper we were set to conquer the world!

I hope everyone had an awesome time ringing in the new year, full of ambitious resolutions and everything exciting, spent with loved ones and new friends. This year I was thinking that I would try this whole new years resolutions thing, considering Mackenzie and I were able to keep to ONE of our new years resolutions from ringing in 2012. At first Mackenzie and I decided that we would no longer drink pop or any energy drinks, so we survived on coffee for half the year and became quite confidant and comfortable that we had beaten the pop-craving. So at 6 months in, halfway through our resolution time, we caved. We like to think that it was not by want or craving, but by choice. We WANTED to have a pop and show we had self control. BAD CHOICE. From there on in we were doomed.
However we did stick to not drinking energy drinks. I can proudly say that Mackenzie and I did not consume any energetic beverages throughout the entire 2012 year. WAHOOO.

So here's to round 2, a few resolutions for 2013.

  • Your typical, 'Eat Healthy' - No pop, some chips here and there.  (yes, there are already laid down loop holes but at least I am setting up for success and being realistic)
  • Eating out will be limited, regardless of events/holidays
  • Running - no not for the bus, but regularly and effectively.
  • SAVE. - **fingers crossed** (Misson's trip to Ecuador)
So here's to the next year, I can't wait to see what adventures and exciting new challenges 2013 has to hold.
